The Chinese Classics, compiled by James Legge (1870). I've placed this google book under both primary and secondary because it contains the Analects, but also synopses of/commentaries on Confucius and his disciples' lives. Unfortunately, it is very poorly indexed.
Interestingly, the book is an historic artifact in itself, and the introduction is a critical commentary on Legge.
